The Road to Pennsylvania

Ok So my buddy Mckay decided he did not have a lot to do so he wanted to come with me on my long drive out to Pennsylvania to work. So I picked him up sunday at about 2 in the afternoon then we headed over to Justin's house and then the three of us in 2 cars headed out to Coalville to visit Grandma and Grandpa before we left. We visited them for a few minutes then we drove to the state line of Utah and Wyoming and got a picture. Then it was on to Cheyene and that is where we stopped for the night. The next day our goal was to make it to Indianapolis, Indiana which was about 1100 miles away. Well we made it to Omaha, Nebraska and ate lunch. Mckay rotated between my car and Justin's to talk to us and keep us company. Well we stopped and got the picture infront of the welcome to Nebraska sign. I must mention that there really is nothing to see in Nebraska or Wyoming and Iowa is not much better. Well we made to Illinois about the time that it got dark and we still had about 200 miles to get to Indianapolis. Mckay was with Justin driving in front leading the way at about 75 miles and hour. We were about 100 miles outside of Indianapolis when Justin hit a deer with the front left side of his car. They were fine but the deer was dead and skidded about 100 feet. Luckily it was one of the smaller deer from the east so it did not do a whole lot of damage to the car. So we found the nearest motel and called it a night. The next morning we went to a mechanic and he said it was fine to drive to Pennsylvania but that once we were there we needed to get some stuff fixed. Then we finally made to Indianapolis where Shenae Duncan one of my friends from high school fed us lunch and we visited. Then we drove off to Pittsburg where we met up with one of my mission buddies Eric Russin and we chatted for a few minutes and then we left Mckay with him to go to the airport and drive home. I must also mention that there are some way cool towns all through Indiana and Pennsylvania right there near the border of the 2 states. Then Justin and I left for Allentown our final destination. It was dark and raining for the last 200 miles of the drive. The headlights on Justins cars didn't work due to the deer so I drove in front and we finally made it to Allentown alive.
